A Short History.......
Boisdale and Briagolong had had contrasting histories prior to their merger in 1982. Boisdale had been an active member of the North Gippsland Football League since 1965, claiming a Senior flag in 1970 and finishing second twice, where as Briagolong had been in recess for three decades. The merged club competed initially in the NGFL before transferring to the Riviera Football League in 1986. Its record in the RFL was excellent, involving half a dozen senior grade grand final appearances for three premierships.
In 2004 the Bombers resumed in the NGFL, struggling somewhat initially but showing gradual improvement culminating in a finals appearance in 2008.

Boisdale-Briagolong are known as the Bombers.
Home Strip - Black with Red Sash, Red and Black Hooped Socks and Black Shorts
Away Strip - Red with Black Bomber, Red and Black Hooped Socks and White Shorts.

1982 - North Gippsland FL : Boisdale and Briagolong merged to form Boisdale-Briagolong FC.
1983-84 - North Gippsland FL : Boisdale-Briagolong participated.
1985 - North Gippsland FL : Boisdale-Briagolong's final season in NGFL league.
1986 - Riviera FL : Boisdale-Briagolong commenced.
1987-91 - Riviera FL : Boisdale-Briagolong participated.
1992 - Riviera FL Grand Final : Newry defeated Boisdale-Briagolong.
1993 - Riviera FL Grand Final : Newry defeated Boisdale-Briagolong.
1994 - Riviera FL Grand Final : Newry defeated Boisdale-Briagolong.
1995 (Riviera FL) :
Second Semi-Final - Boisdale-Briagolong defeated Newry.
Grand Final - Boisdale-Briagolong 13.7.85 defeated Newry 5.7.37.
This was their first flag as Boisdale-Briagolong.
1996-99 - Riviera FL : Boisdale-Briagolong participated.
2000 (Riviera FL) :
Second Semi-Final : Boisdale-Briagolong defeated West Bairnsdale.
Grand-final (12 August) : Boisdale-Briagolong 19.16.130 defeated Newry 5.5.35.
2001 (Riviera FL) :
Second Semi-Final - Boisdale-Briagolong 11.15.81 defeated Nambrok 4.8.32.
Grand Final - Boisdale-Briagalong 10.10.70 defeated Nambrok 8.5.53.
2002 - Riviera FL : Boisdale-Briagolong participated.
2003 - Riviera FL : Boisdale-Briagolong's final season in this league.
2004 - North Gippsland FL : Boisdale-Briagolong recommenced.
